The new BEAM6x WindPower is a true push-button LiDAR dedicated to Wind Ressource Assessments (site assessment, wind turbine power curves, wind turbine optimisation,…). It’s the most powerful (up to 500m range and excellent data availability) and compact Wind LiDAR on the market, thanks to Lumibird’s laser design and Halo Photonics’ data processing algorithm. Its six-beam configuration – one laser switched sequentially on the five oblique beams and the vertical beam – and adjustable number of gates (up to 380) provide comprehensive information on wind profile and turbulence intensity over the complete rotor height.
