About HALO Photonics

We develop and manufacture coherent wind LiDAR products that are extremely robust, reliable, energy efficient and low maintenance. They are built for continuous use in harsh and remote environments.

About us

The Past, Present and the Future

Over the past 15+ years HALO Photonics installed hundreds of complex systems which have been deployed all over the world in remote and harsh environmental conditions such as :

  • Active volcanic areas in Iceland for volcanic ash monitoring
  • St Helena in the South Atlantic for aircraft safety
  • Mounted on aircraft for climate changed monitoring
  • In the North Sea on wind turbines
  • Mounted on vehicles for wildfire detection in California
About us

HALO Photonics was acquired by Lumibird Group at the end of December 2019 with the common aim of utilising Lumibird’s manufacturing and photonics experience and HALO’s leading wind LiDAR products to expand markets, increase manufacturing capacity and develop best in class wind LiDAR products and solutions to address our customer needs and enable meaningful change for the future.

In the coming mouths we will be launching new product and services to support targeted applications.
